Be the People Partner Behind a High-Performing Operation - Senior HR Business Partner (Field)

A large, fast-moving distribution and supply chain organization supporting nationwide operations is seeking one Senior HR Business Partner (Field) to serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees at a high-volume facility. This role blends employee relations, compliance, safety, and strategic HR partnership in an environment where ethical leadership, operational excellence, and people-first decision-making matter.

Hours & Pay



  • Schedule: Monday-Friday; hours must overlap 1st and 2nd shifts
  • Travel: Up to 20% overnight travel as needed
  • Compensation Range: $54,363.95 - $80,186.82 annually, based on experience and qualifications
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire



What You'll Do



  • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, complaint resolution, coaching, counseling, and conflict management
  • Review and guide disciplinary actions based on investigation outcomes and compliance standards
  • Partner closely with site leadership and corporate HR shared services on ER matters
  • Co-manage site employee relations programs and serve as a voice-of-the-employee advocate
  • Administer and reinforce companywide safety programs, training initiatives, and IIPP standards
  • Coordinate safety training and assist with safety audits and employee safety concerns
  • Serve as liaison between site leadership and corporate teams for safety, workers' compensation, and security matters
  • Support workers' compensation processes in partnership with Safety and WC leadership
  • Conduct new hire orientations, background checks, drug screenings, resignations, and exit interviews
  • Assist with audits related to hiring practices and government agency requirements
  • Report on employment metrics, attrition, and agency headcount
  • Partner with staffing agencies to support workforce needs
  • Train management and employees on HR policies, employee relations, workers' compensation, and security procedures
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across locations and provide backup support as needed



What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5-10 years of progressive HR experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner with a strong focus on employee relations
  • Multi-state HR experience supporting exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Working knowledge of employment and labor laws, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, workers' compensation, and state leave laws
  • Experience administering ER programs, conducting investigations, and advising leadership
  • Proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and ethical judgment
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, HR systems, payroll, SAP preferred)
  • PHR certification preferred
