Job Description




As a Security Officer - Bank Branch Patrols in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and interact with employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Observe and report security-related incidents or irregularities, documenting all findings as required by Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential threats.
  • Communicate with management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or emergencies on site.
  • Support site-specific security-related operations as directed by Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
