Position SummaryPOSITION SUMMARY
The Cradle to Career Policy Institute is seeking an entry-level,
in-office, student researcher to support the daily operations of existing research
studies. The role is designed to aid and support research staff by entering,
updating, and managing data, and assisting with research-related projects. This
position offers hands-on experience in research. The Student Researcher will work
under supervision of staff in charge of research projects and will meet
regularly with staff.
Duties and responsibilities will include research, clerical, and
data management, including the following:
* Performing accurate data entry and quality checks
* Maintaining organized study records and reviewing documents
* Establish, maintain, process, and/or update files, records
and/or other documents while maintaining confidentiality
* Field Work (Optional): If interested and opportunities
arise, may assist or accompany current staff in field work, meetings, or
tabling in Albuquerque and around New Mexico

Preferred Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* This position requires responsibility and initiative
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to gather data, compile information, and summarize
information
* Experience with the Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
* Must be able to complete assigned tasks with accuracy while
meeting deadlines
* Work as a team member with staff on various projects
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
* Professional interpersonal and communication skills,
especially over the phone
* Typing and basic computer knowledge of MS Word/Excel

PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of research
* Interest in research, social sciences, or related fields
* Experience with CITI certification (e.g., Human Subjects
Research)
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently
* History of being responsible, self-disciplined, and
self-motivated
* Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
* Fluent in English and
Spanish
