Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION

To conduct Learning Content Validation and Analysis of US Navy Technical Training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Training and Experience: Three (3) years of Instructional Systems Design. Capable of conducting courseware content analysis tasks. Experience with Naval Education and Training instructions and processes. Aviation and Military experience a plus.

Skills: Team player with the ability to work independently and proactively in order to develop high quality courseware meeting strict deadlines. Understanding of adult learning theory and Instructional Design Analysis practices and methodologies required. Possess ability to conduct analysis tasks and work with subject matter experts. Must be able to communicate project updates effectively and meet deadlines. Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Professional technical writing, verbal communication skills, and strong technology skills required.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Microsoft SharePoint.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Verify and validate Government Furnished Information to include course list, AIM course materials and Learning Objectives (LOs).
  • Work with SME in the construction and utilization of a cross reference matrix for all associated USN rating course material.
  • Gather additional information through GFI analysis and interviews and discussions with USN Instructors and SME to support learning content conversion.
  • Construct detailed task description from existing course materials and references.
  • Identify Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, LO requirements and prerequisites.
  • Ability to organize and manage tasking and effectively communicate with project leaders, clients, subject matter experts.
  • Must be able to communicate project updates effectively and meet deadlines.


  • Review final products and conduct quality control activities prior to customer delivery.
  • Prepares final analysis products, post to distribution medium, and notify instructional staff of its availability.
  • Travel required.
