The Senior Analyst, Clinical Programs will support the development of DaVita's integrated care strategy with a specific focus on optimizing Nurse Practitioner (NP) workflows to enhance care quality and provider effectiveness.

In an integrated care environment, this role is key to ensuring our NPs can provide comprehensive and preventative care each patient needs in a value-based healthcare world. This teammate will be an innovator and experimenter, collaborating with several teams to drive this executive-led transformation. This position blends innovative strategic thinking with operational execution.

Core activities for this role center on identifying and executing opportunities to improve clinical effectiveness. This includes analyzing clinical workflows to pinpoint opportunities, redesigning operational processes to remove administrative burdens, and partnering with internal and external teams to evaluate how technology and AI can be leveraged to save our Nurse Practitioners time and enhance the quality of patient care.

The Senior Analyst will work on a team of highly motivated individuals with consulting, process engineering, change management, and/or clinical experience. This highly visible and cross-functional role will work directly with Kidney Care and IKC (Integrated Kidney Care) leadership.

Key responsibilities are spread across three categories:

Analytics and Reporting

  • Develop and automate dashboards and reporting to analyze NP capacity, clinical process efficiency, and overall program impact.
  • Integrate disparate data sets (e.g., clinical, operational) to produce actionable insights that improve NP workflows.
  • Enhance data visualization capabilities to communicate complex findings and performance trends to clinical and executive leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical efficiency metrics, collaborating with data and clinical teams to identify new opportunities for analysis.

Project Management

  • Own and drive workstreams forward from hypothesis to execution, ensuring that projects meet deadlines and key milestones.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, stakeholder maps, and communication cadences.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks or roadblocks to project execution, and come prepared with recommended solutions.
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Define and track metrics to measure the success of NP-focused programs and process improvements.

Pilots and Experimentation

  • Support strategic initiatives for the Clinical Transformation team, including hypothesis development, research, and insight generation related to NP efficiency and quality of care.
  • Help build consensus for new clinical best practices across several stakeholders.
  • Support the development, piloting, and deployment of clinical programs designed to streamline clinical workflows and improve provider experience.
  • Perform analyses to evaluate the impact of all initiatives, ensuring a clear understanding of what is and is not working.
  • Collaborate with teams across the enterprise to enable the rollout of new clinical tools and programs for NPs.
  • Distill complex operational problems into cohesive, impactful stories and recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of work experience in management consulting, process engineering, investment banking, healthcare analytics, or a corporate strategy role preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and/or strong interest in healthcare delivery, clinical process improvement, and patient experience
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills preferred
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to impact change

Additional Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skillset
  • Strong executive communication skills and proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Strong, creative problem-solving and analytical skills
