Genesis10 is seeking an Azure Engineer - Hybrid position with our banking client located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12-month contract opportunity. Pay rate range: $82.00 - $86.44 hourly. Summary: Azure Devops Engineer- As a DevOps Engineer you will play a critical role binding the gap between development and operations. You will work closely with our software engineering, QA, infrastructure and security teams to design, implement and maintain a robust and scalable CICD solution to support mission-critical financial applications. Your expertise will ensure the seamless deployment of applications, while maintaining the highest levels of security, compliance and performance. This is a senior engineering role, the consultant will be responsible for building out the devops architecture, doing impact analysis for gaps, and creating a plan to solve gaps. The consultant needs to be able to identify root causes of issues and create a solution for them and then break it down into work breakdown structures to execute the solution. Azure Devops Engineer will be responsible for : CICD Pipeline Management: design, develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to streamline the software development process. Infrastructure as Code - Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate the provision and management of infrastructure. Monitoring & Logging: develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of production systems. Security & Compliance: collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps processes, ensuring that all systems meet the stringent compliance requirements of the bank. Automation & Scripting: develop automation scripts using Python, Bash or similar as required to automate routine tasks. Collaboration: work closely with development, QA, security and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable application delivery and setting out best practice guidelines wherever possible. Requirements: Azure DevOps Experience Azure Architecture/Integration Solutioning Experience Python is preferred Azure Certification is a must : AZ-400/AZ-305 cert preferred Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
