**What You Will Do:**

In this exciting role, you will be a key player in the planning and forecasting processes, providing essential insights that guide commercial strategy. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting informed decision-making across various departments.

* Lead weekly order meetings, collaborating with commercial teams to meticulously compile and consolidate current month and quarter financial projections.

* Present current month and quarter financial projections to leadership, clearly articulating variance drivers and highlighting potential risks and opportunities.

* Accurately reconcile retail and net sales by account at month-end, partnering with analytics and finance teams to uphold data integrity.

* Monitor business performance, reviewing and adjusting year-to-go retail and net sales projections with commercial teams as needed.

* Participate in monthly demand review and consensus meetings, presenting the latest commercial forecasts for retail and net sales to cross-functional partners.

* Support the commercial planning leadership in delivering key trend and budget deliverables.

* Develop, maintain, and enhance complex planning modules used for forecasting and budgeting purposes.

* Act as a primary liaison with sales teams, gathering market insights and challenging projections to ensure robust sales forecasts.

**What We Are Looking For:**

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive to contribute to business success.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Exceptional proficiency in Excel, with a deep understanding of complex functions and modeling.

* Proven ability to analyze data at granular levels, identifying key trends and insights.

* Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial information clearly and concisely.

* A strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and rapidly changing priorities effectively.

* Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively across various functional teams.

* Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all analyses and reports.

Must come from beauty industry or consumer products - beauty is highly preferred but open to specialty stores, CVS, etc

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience within the consumer goods industry, coupled with knowledge of retail math (e.g., customer margin, stock in trade, week of supply).

* Previous experience in financial planning and forecasting roles.

* Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
