ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS




  • Expedites delivery of electronic components within established guidelines and processes.
  • Contact vendors via e-mail, phone, and through online portals.
  • Reviews reports, analyzes data, and develops productive solutions for expediting product delivery.
  • Communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information such as availability and delivery schedule.
  • Communicates internally with other Mouser teams including customer service, purchasing, and others as needed to determine and relay delivery needs and information.
  • Supports the total quality process and demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others in a customer service oriented environment.
  • Desire, ability, and personality to deal directly with vendors and represent Mouser Electronics.
  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.



SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS




  • PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment; proficient with internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software.
  • Able to use, read and interpret spreadsheets, printed reports and terminal screens.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Proficient in written and oral business communications.
  • Clear enunciation of English and a courteous telephone voice and phone hearing.
  • Skill evaluation: Math 90%, Spelling 90%, Typing 35 WPM, Basic Excel 80%.

  • Minimum 2 years post high school experience including minimum 1 year of Inventory Operations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
