Dispatch Supervisor - Garden City Sanitation (Waste Connections)

Location: Santa Clara, CA
Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000

What You'll Do

As a Dispatch Supervisor, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Your day will include:

• Coordinating with multiple departments to resolve customer issues and ensure timely service.
• Handling inquiries related to missed pick-ups, misplaced containers, and property concerns.
• Analyzing routes and supporting drivers in the field when questions arise.
• Scheduling and dispatching work throughout the day to drivers and other team members.
• Using MS Office and proprietary systems to manage schedules, data, and reporting.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and promoting goodwill in every interaction.
• Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while identifying opportunities for additional services.

What We're Looking For

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred but not required.

Experience:

• 2+ years in dispatch within transportation or logistics preferred.
• 2+ years in customer service.

Skills:

• Strong typing and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills-both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional, tactful approach when working with field personnel and customers.
