As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to support a secure and orderly environment.
• Maintain accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
