The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Enterprise Sales and Marketing team! In this role, you will assist Marketing staff in support of McKinstry's business development and market-facing communication efforts. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Support production of proposals, qualifications, and client-facing presentation materials:

    • Support meeting proposal deadlines and established priorities and target dates for information gathering.

    • Assist with editing proposal content for readability, consistency, clarity and compliance with requirements.

    • Assist with research, writing, and updating information including project descriptions, resumes, and other qualification materials.

  • Manage electronic proposal files, including network database and SharePoint files, and ensure file closeout procedures are followed.

  • Develop marketing collateral and graphics in collaboration with the graphic designers and marketing specialists.

  • Update internal databases with key information to drive data integrity and synergy across the enterprise.

  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to identify opportunities for content development in partnership with marketing and communications specialists.

  • Assist in the creation of website and social media content to support sales efforts, including project and people profiles.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Bachelor's Degree of equivalent work experience required.

  • 1-2 years of working experience in a marketing or communications role in architecture, engineering or construction (AEC) industry or similar capacity required.

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required, specifically Adobe InDesign.

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

  • Experience telling stories across digital platforms (websites and social media) that drive engagement preferred.

  • Understanding of the AEC industry and marketing fundamentals preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required.

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required.

  • Ability to adapt to different communication styles required.

  • A collaborative team-player mindset with the ability to work independently required.

  • The ability to think outside the box to find solutions to problems required.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $36.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
