Vaco is actively looking for a IAM Engineer with Powershell Scripting experience. This is a 12 month contract but must be willing to work on a W2 basis, no sponsorship or third party vendors accepted. Please apply directly to the posting for more information.Candidates local to Charlotte, NC will be preferred to go into office at times.Position Summary We are seeking a skilled IAM Implementation Engineer to lead and support the deployment and integration of identity and access management solutions across enterprise environments. This role will focus on designing and implementing secure, scalable access controls, integrating with cloud and on-prem systems, and ensuring compliance with governance standards. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and deploy IAM solutions including access request workflows, provisioning/deprovisioning processes, and access certification reviews. Integrate IAM platforms with enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and custom scripts. Collaborate with stakeholders to define access policies and entitlement structures. Gather and analyze business and technical requirements for IAM initiatives. Document architecture, workflows, and integration points. Support compliance initiatives by automating audit and reporting processes. Required Skills & Experience Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, SQL, and API integrations Strong understanding of database design and data modeling. Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, and cloud IAM solutions. Experience with access request management, provisioning/deprovisioning, and access certification processes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline creation with Azure DevOps Familiarity with IGA tools like SecurEnds, SailPoint, or Microsoft Entra ID Governance Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 5+ years of experience in IAM engineering and implementation roles. Advanced PowerShell scripting skillswith a portfolio of automation projects. Prior experience building and supporting an Enterprise Data Warehouse Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) models. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, CISSP).
