Job Title: RN / Registered Nurse ( Labor & Delivery / NICU ) Duration: Contract 6+ Months Work Arrangement: Fully onsite Location: Trenton, NJ 08608 Shift: 8am-5pm Pay Rate: $56.00 Role & Responsibilities: Review and process birth defects registrations submitted by health care providers electronically and/or on paper form Ensure that registrations for completeness and accuracy of required fields Assign appropriate ICD-10 codes to submitted diagnoses Conduct follow up phone calls to paediatric offices, specialty clinics or hospitals as needed to confirm or clarify diagnoses or obtain missing information Document communications in the registry record Respond to phone calls and emails from families of registered children Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience: Nursing knowledge/experience in labor and delivery, NICU, birth defects, pediatrics, or maternal child health; education and license as Registered Nurse (RN); ability to conduct follow up telephone calls with medical professionals and families; knowledge of ICD-10 medical coding system. Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: Licensed by State of NJ as a Registered Nurse (RN)
