Senior Client Development Manager - Interim Finance & Accounting Placements Location: New York, NY (Hybrid / Remote Flexibility) Compensation: $80,000-$85,000 base + uncapped commission Overview: Our senior consulting division specializes in placing interim finance and accounting leaders - including CFOs, Controllers, Assistant Controllers, Finance Managers, Senior Accountants, and other senior finance professionals. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Client Development Manager to join our team in a sales-focused capacity, driving client relationships and revenue growth. This is an employee role with strong hybrid/remote flexibility and the opportunity to work with a highly specialized and high-performing team. Responsibilities & Experience Includes: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-level and senior finance executives, understanding their interim finance and accounting staffing needs. * Own the full sales cycle: identify opportunities, pitch solutions, negotiate terms, and close placements of interim finance professionals. * Collaborate closely with internal recruitment and delivery teams to ensure successful placement and client satisfaction. * Conduct market research and maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to proactively position our services. * Deliver accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to leadership. * Contribute to business development strategies, including identifying new markets and service lines to expand revenue. Requirements: * 5-7+ years of proven success in the staffing or recruiting industry, ideally in finance/accounting or professional services placements. * Strong track record of sales performance, quota attainment, and client relationship management. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with comfort engaging with senior executives. * MBA or CPA preferred but not required. * Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
