Position Title: Supply Analyst - Military Equipment Kalman & Company is seeking to hire an experienced Supply Analyst to work onsite in Albany, GA, supporting a government client. Position Summary: The Supply Analyst is responsible for analyzing, coordinating, and managing military equipment lifecycle activities with a focus on accountability, requisitioning, receiving, storage, distribution, and other inventory management practices. This role supports mission readiness by ensuring inventory is stocked, stored, and issued to supported customers in compliance with applicable supply chain policies and directives. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of inventory data to identify accountability and condition of military equipment.
- Perform audits and physical inventory of stored assets to ensure accurate accountability.
- Maintain accurate automated records of equipment received, available, transferred and distributed to supported customers world-wide.
- Utilize supply chain management IT systems (e.g., GCSS-MC, DPAS, or other DoD logistics platforms) to track asset movement and status.
- Prepare reports for leadership on equipment metrics, trends, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations and policies regarding equipment accountability and disposition.
- Support audits and inspections by providing documentation and analysis related to storage supporting activities.
- Collaborate with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), GSA, and other federal entities to facilitate interagency transfers.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is required.
- 5+ years of experience in Marine Corps supply chain or logistics operations
- Experience utilizing DoD IT Platforms and Marine Corps supply systems (GCSS-MC, ELMS/DPAS, CATALYST, EMS, FLIS)
- Experience with GCSS-MC for requisitioning and inventory management
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel)
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities, and ability to work within a collaborative environment
- Must be able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations
Work Environment:
- Warehouse -based with occasional travel to military installations or logistics hubs
- May involve site visits for training or assess equipment condition or coordinate transfers
