The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Early Clinical Development and Clinical Imaging Department Summary Genentech's Research and Early Development (gRED) Early Clinical Development (ECD) organization is responsible for developing and executing early development clinical strategies and plans to provide proof-of-concept data with respect to safety, efficacy, and the utility of biomarkers for gRED new molecular entities. The Computational Sciences Center of Excellence (CS CoE) is a strategic, unified group whose goal is to harness the transformative power of data, technology and computational approaches to assist our scientists in both pRED and gRED to deliver more innovative and transformative medicines for patients worldwide. Working with both the immunology respiratory team within ECD and the imaging data insights team in the CS CoE, the intern will have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional team to explore and build artificial intelligence (AI) models that use multiple data modalities to predict disease progression in patients with respiratory diseases. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary for this position based on the primary location of California is $50.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
