CDL B Local Delivery Driver

Staffmark is seeking new talent in Santa Fe Springs, CA, and hiring an experienced CDL B Local Delivery Driver to join our team! Enjoy being home daily while making local deliveries of food, frozen, and dry goods to markets and restaurants throughout the area.

Pay: $26.30 per hour + Overtime after 8 hours + Double Time after 12 hours per day

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Start time around 7:00 AM (Local deliveries only-no overnight or long-haul routes!)

Job Details:

• Local deliveries of Asian food, produce, and dry goods to grocery stores, restaurants, markets, and hotels
• Touch freight: Driver will load/unload using a pallet jack, lift gate, and dolly
• Lifting requirement: Up to 50 lbs
• Vehicle type: CDL B 26' straight truck with reefer unit
• 3-month assignment with potential to convert to temp-to-hire for the right person

Job Duties:

• Perform required vehicle safety inspections before, during, and after routes
• Maintaincleanlinessof the vehicle and report maintenance issues promptly
• Represent Staffmark Drivers and the client in a professional, customer-focused manner
• Verify orders and ensure accurate, timely deliveries
• Read and interpret shipping documents and follow delivery schedules

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card
• Non-excepted Interstate status required
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable food delivery experience
• No more than 3 moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years
• No DUIs, reckless driving, or serious violations within 5 years
• Must be able to liftupto 50 lbs and wear steel-toed boots
• Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse report and acceptable MVR
