General Academic Pediatric Fellowship Program Open Position for a 1st Year Fellow in Washington D.C

Children's National Hospital in Washington D.C. has an open General Academic Pediatric Fellowship in Advocacy and Health Equity Position for its 3-year training program. We have an excellent, comprehensive program designed to train a new generation of physician advocates who will create successful community partnerships and integrate public health concepts into the everyday practice of medicine. This is a great opportunity for someone who may be interested in advocacy and health equity for under-resourced communities.

Qualifications

Prerequisite for training:

  • Completion of 3 years of Pediatric Residency in an approved training program before July 1st, 2023

  • Recommendation from training program.

  • Completion of medical school in the U.S. or Canada or be ECFMG certified if an international medical graduate.

  • Obtaining a District of Columbia unrestricted medical license prior to starting fellowship training.

  • Successful completion with a passing grade all three steps of the USMLE.
