Summary:

The Human Resource Generalist supports the daily functions of the Human Resources department to ensure smooth HR processes, maintain data integrity, and deliver a strong candidate and employee experience.

This role works closely with the Senior HR Generalist assisting with key responsibilities such as conducting HRIS data audits, providing internal support and partnership to business lines to deliver required human resources and generating custom reports. This position also supports the Talent Acquisition Manager by assisting recruiting logistics including generating offer letters, scheduling interviews and coordinating career fairs and outreach events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

HR Operations 50%



  • Acts as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Provides Senior HR Generalist support in employee relations, including guiding employees and managers on day-to-day issues.
  • Assists the Senior HR Generalist with annual regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Produces reports and insights to support compliance, operational decision-making, and leadership needs, with guidance from the Senior HR Generalist.
  • Provides support to the Human Resources Coordinator (HRC).
  • Supports employment compliance across federal, state, local, and international regulations, partnering on audits, filings, recordkeeping, and policy updates.
  • Conducts routine HRIS data audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Assists with the administration of performance review cycles.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in HR efficiency and services performed.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Conducts exit surveys, as directed by Senior HR Generalist
  • Assists in the implementation and ongoing development of a new HRIS system, including testing, data clean-up, and process documentation.


Recruiting Support 50%



  • Coordinates and registers the company's participation in career fairs and related recruiting events.
  • Posts open positions to job boards and internal systems via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Maintains and updates candidate records in the ATS.
  • Manages interview scheduling and logistics, by providing timely, professional communication and a positive end-to-end experience.
  • Drafts offer letters in coordination with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Creates and reviews job descriptions with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Supports ad hoc recruiting administrative tasks as needed.
  • Keep recruiting and intern programs organized by maintaining workflows, onboarding support, calendars, records, and general administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to provide a smooth and engaging new hire experience.
  • Maintain monthly and quarterly recruiting data and key metrics such as pipeline health, time-to-fill, candidate and hiring manager satisfaction surveys, and offer decline reasons (if applicable).


  • Ensures compliance with Manson's Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.
  • Practices safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities desired in candidates.



  • 3+ years of experience in HR operations, or a related HR support role
  • 2+ years of experience working for a federal contractor desired, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Delivers accurate, timely work with strong attention to detail and data integrity
  • Communicates clearly and empathetically with employees, vendors, and team members
  • Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive information
  • Manages multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Takes initiative in learning systems and improving processes

This position is primarily an in-office based role out of Seattle, WA.

Physical Demands

Minimal travel is required for this position. Position is primarily an office position, performs work at a desk. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Employee must be able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) in order to conduct job site visits (hard hats, personal floatation devices, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toed shoes, respirators, etc.), and be able to navigate stairs, ladders, gangways, and to board, work on, and disembark floating vessels and structures.
