Overview

TRC is seeking a highly capable data analyst to work closely with senior leadership supporting land, right-of-way (ROW), and project delivery teams. This role is a hands-on, embedded partner position that combines intermediate to advanced Excel/data skills, workflow development, data architecture, automation, customer support, process documentation, and end-user training.

The ideal candidate is analytically strong, technically curious, comfortable interfacing with both internal teams and external clients, and thrives in environments where systems, data quality, and process clarity are critical to project success.

Experience supporting ROW, land acquisition, title, permitting, or infrastructure delivery across complex, multi-jurisdictional projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Project & Operational Support

  • Partner directly with senior leadership to support land, ROW, and energy infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with project setup, imports/exports (XML, spreadsheets, system-to-system feeds), and milestone tracking.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (ROW agents, title teams, project managers, technology teams) to ensure accurate and timely data flow.
  • Help translate operational requirements into technical/system solutions.

Customer Support & Enablement

  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for internal users and external clients needing system or data support.
  • Respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear guidance on platform usage and reporting.
  • Support onboarding of new users and clients into systems and workflows.

Procedures, Documentation & Training

  • Write, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and job aids.
  • Develop clear, user-friendly documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Host and facilitate training sessions, demos, and walkthroughs (live or recorded)
  • Assist with change management when systems, workflows, or reporting requirements evolve.

Data & Systems Management

  • Build, maintain, and optimize advanced Excel workbooks including:
    • Pivot tables, dynamic arrays, complex formulas, and data validation.
    • Power Query transformations (unpivoting, merges, data normalization)
    • Dashboards, metrics tracking, and performance reporting
  • Support configuration, administration, and day-to-day use of energy-industry data platforms (e.g., OneVizion or similar project/ROW management systems)
  • Assist with database schema design, field definitions, data standards, and reporting structures.
  • Perform data quality audits and troubleshoot inconsistencies across systems and imports/exports.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating data analysis, reporting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with OneVizion, ROW management systems, land systems, or similar energy-industry platforms
  • Familiarity with land acquisition, right-of-way, title, or permitting workflows.
  • Experience writing SOPs, training materials, or technical documentation.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools, reporting dashboards, or system integrations.
  • Background working closely with project managers, ROW agents, or operations teams.
