Could you be the full-time onsite Materials Manager in Baltimore, MD, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and logistics expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll ensure seamless material availability and optimize inventory to support the company's operational excellence. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (procurement, warehouse management, and supplier relationship management), define and deploy continuous improvement roadmaps, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Ensuring appropriate parts scheduling, purchase parts deliveries, and logistic flows to make material available when needed, aligned with company cash objectives,



  • Ensuring employees operate in an environment compliant with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies,



  • Managing the material work package and providing QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments,



  • Leading and managing a team by calculating workload, defining priorities, and implementing development plans,



  • Ensuring physical inventory accuracy by applying Alstom's rules for counting,



  • Ensuring data integrity for efficient MRP (Material Resource Planning),



  • Providing reporting to management for various supply chain KPIs,



  • Coordinating Master Production and Repair Schedule definition and monitoring schedule and shipment execution to achieve on-time delivery targets and customer satisfaction"

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a similar field. ,



  • Experience or understanding of logistics flows, warehouse management, and material needs scheduling. ,



  • Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP, with special regards to modules used for Supply Chain management. ,



  • Familiarity with managing supplier relationships and coordinating delivery plans. ,



  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey clear and synthetic messages across different levels. ,



  • Teamwork and accountability: Delegates effectively, provides encouragement, and supports accountability. ,



  • Empowerment: Creates an environment where individuals actively take initiative and ownership. ,



  • Risk management: Provides early warnings when unforeseen problems arise to ensure timely corrective action. ,



  • Operational effectiveness: Identifies critical tasks and resources, ensures execution, delivery, and follow-up. ,
