Overview

TRC seeks an Associate Project Manager to support program internal operations, program offerings in the market, and program design/development for a commercial energy efficiency program in Oregon and SW Washington. This individual will also support a team focused on leveraging the power and relationships of community-based organizations to help make energy efficiency upgrades possible in communities with historically low energy efficiency program participation rates. This team member may also help design and implement new initiatives and pilot projects for multifamily properties and small businesses.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-driven, client-focused, and a team player who takes initiative and can juggle shifting priorities with a high degree of quality, efficiency, reliability, and accuracy. This position works across teams and requires the ability to understand energy efficiency equipment and program eligibility requirements, provides outstanding customer service internally, with local nonprofits and with clients, and ensures quality control and accuracy across an array of operational program materials. A demonstrated aptitude for understanding, or interest in, energy-efficient technologies is important in this role.


Responsibilities

Supporting team members and executing regular updates to program materials, processes and systems.

  • Supporting recurring and ad-hoc internal and external reporting requests
  • Researching relevant policies and programs for alignment, collaboration and partnering opportunities to help expand the program's current services, tools and offerings.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, clients and community partners to develop informed program designs and implementation plans.
  • Developing, maintaining and building relationships with community-based program delivery partners.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Organizational skills:
    • Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to monitor and manage project progress.
  • Technical competency:
    • Knowledge of commercial energy efficiency, HVAC and water heating related technology, and building science principles.
    • Knowledge of regional policies and programs (e.g., ODOE, OHCS, and other state and federal programs) that intersect with energy usage, utilities, and the customers served by the program.
    • Experience working with agencies (e.g. community-based organizations, non-profits, and affordable housing providers) that support, or work with, people navigating low-incomes and small businesses.
    • Experience working with environmental justice communities.
    • Basic knowledge of workforce development programs and ability to support workforce development efforts.
    • Strong computer proficiency that ensures day-to-day work can be performed successfully. Experience using MS Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to conduct independent computer-based research is required.
    • Experience working with CRM systems.
    • Experience working with program data and sensitive customer information.
    • Bilingual, at native or near-native proficiency, is a plus.
  • Interpersonal skills:
    • Self-driven and a team player with established critical thinking, analytical, and problem- solving skills.
    • Strong teamwork skills that include highly effective communication in-person, over email, and over the phone.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team and customers, including partners and stakeholders.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $88,000.00 /Yr.
