GENERAL FUNCTION

The Rx Routing Manager is responsible for the Rx Network strategy execution for RxO North America. This role is expected to support our network working with Rx labs within EssilorLuxottica group worldwide and 3rd party labs (100+ labs). This role is responsible for defining the best strategy to distribute orders throughout our network to achieve the best service for our customers while optimizing costs and respecting feasibility. This role is expected to receive inputs on the planning strategy working with the Industrial Planning team as well as monitoring load in the different labs, working with the Lab management team in the US/CA and other regions (China, Mexico...) as well as our third-party lab vendors to optimize work in process and ensure our service KPI's are met. These decisions will be taken with reference to sales volume plans (demand), industrial shipments volumes and capacity of the labs (supply).

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leverage strong cross-functional relationships with manufacturing labs, Inventory lens planning, Engineering, Quality, Industrial Planning, Demand Planning and IT
  • Continuously balancing sales volume, shipments, and wip in our manufacturing network
  • Leverages relationships with functional leaders and internal business partners to deliver network strategy plans
  • Monitors supply chain KPI to effectively run the business and develop and lead new business processes / corrective-preventive actions to reduce negative impacts on service/WIP
  • Build workflows, processes, and work instructions
  • Work closely with brand partners and IT team to resolve issues/errors on item setups.
  • Lead, track and provide updates on special projects.
  • Troubleshoots routing issues and makes/suggests necessary changes in make and route and POS systems for existing product and for new product introduction.
  • Identify, design and plan projects to gain opportunities and improve the status quo


BASIC (REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred 1+ years in Rx Lens environment
  • Experience in Excel, PowerPoint and SQL type database queries to run the business.
  • Understanding of different manufacturing environments
  • Preferred Broad technical lens/industry knowledge.
  • Proven collaboration skills, managed key internal and external relationships
  • Strong analytical skills; can effectively use qualitative and quantitative data to make recommendations & decisions
  • Ability to travel independently
