Experienced Crusher Operator / Foreman

Job Description

Join one of the leading Wisconsin based regional construction contractors specializing in mass excavation, underground utility, and aggregate production services. We serve the local and regional Public Works, DOT and private commercial & residential infrastructure construction markets throughout Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. We are currently seeking experienced equipment operators for the upcoming construction season. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various heavy equipment, is safety conscious, dependable, and functions effectively as an integral part of a team.

Responsibilities

· Communicate efficiently with manager and crew

· Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner

· Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment

· Communicate plant site issues with Manager while performing daily inspections of the plant site

· Assist in maintenance and repairs including shoveling and equipment operation clean up

· Follow proper safety procedures

· Perform other duties when necessary

Qualifications

· Previous experience operating crushing equipment.

· Valid Commercial Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

· Must be able to travel to various sites as required throughout Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.

· Must be able to meet physical demands of the position such as walk/stand for long periods, lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects.

· Good communication skills both verbal and written.

· Must work safely in all conditions at all times.

· Must pass pre-employment drug test.
