Job Summary

The Sr. Reporting and Analytics Analyst is primarily responsible for strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise reporting solutions with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Power BI. This role focuses on building advanced dashboards, KPIs, data models, and analytics solutions that drive decision-making. Supporting competencies in Python, C#, .NET, and SDLC best practices ensure effective integration, automation, and platform governance.



On-Site Expectations

    100% on-site position.
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain advanced dashboards, KPIs, data models, interactive reports, and predictive reports in Power BI.
  • Develop robust data transformation pipelines and modeling standards aligned to governance and business requirements.
  • Leverage Python, C#, and .NET for automation, scripting, and integration tasks supporting analytics workloads.
  • Participate in and support SDLC processes including requirements, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements and translate them into optimized Power BI solutions.
  • Develop and deploy APIs for systems integration and functionality.
  • Optimize Power BI environments including data refresh, gateway configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Work cross-functionally with IT and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Utilize Agile project management standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI including data modeling, DAX, and visualization design.
  • Industry experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or manufacturing.
  • Strong experience with Python, C#, .NET, DAX, and related programming fundamentals.
  • Agile project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.
  • Strong experience in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms, SQL, and analytics frameworks.
  • Experience with designing, building, and maintaining APIs.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office Suite and database management.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software and tools.
  • High level of personal & professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic.
  • Works independently with a high degree of self-motivation.


Travel Expectations

  • Up to 10% travel expected.

The employee is required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment to perform the job duties. Such personal protective equipment may include but is not limited to safety eyewear, various types of respirators/breathing apparatus, lab coats, gloves, etc.
