The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Machine Operator to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The Key Responsibilities of the Machine Operator include, but are not limited to:?



  • Transport Work-In-Progress (W.I.P.) materials, supplies, and product as necessarybetween work flow centers (WFC).
  • Retrieve, use, and maintain; all tools, racks, fixtures, and gauges required to perform the necessary tasks within the WFC.
  • Checkproduced parts against inspection standards for the operations being completed.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines to the extent of ability.
  • Maintain the order and cleanliness of the WFC


Salary:



  • $29.85 per hour (with scheduled annual increases)
  • Paid Weekly


Location



  • Sidney, NY

    • 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
    • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY




The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Machine Operatorat Amphenol Aerospace Operations:



  • Experience operating machinery in a production manufacturing environment.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Able to read/interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematic drawings.
  • Willing to work any required shift.
  • High school diploma or equivalency is required.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Formal Training in operation of CNC production equipment.
  • 2-5 years of on-the-job production machine operation.
