Technician - Stage II - Audio Visual (Part Time)

The Role:

Prepare the area for particular assignment by setting up and operating various equipment's.

Responsibilities:

1. Installs operates, maintains and repairs electronic and audio visual equipment.
2. Ensure high-quality audio and video, troubleshooting technical issues and setting up equipment based on client specifications
3. Assemble, connect and dismantle audio and visual equipment
4. Install, test and adjust equipment according to blueprints or layouts, including managing cable management
5. Track and maintain inventory of AV, lighting and sound equipment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in entertainment/hospitality venues preferred
• Proficiency with AV equipment, including soundboards, microphones, video monitors and projectors
• Ability to quickly diagnose and fix technical issues under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with clients, presenters, and event staff
• Ability to lift carry and set up heavy equipment
