POSITION OVERVIEW:

Lead a team of professionals responsible for competency modeling, selection tools, performance management, talent review, succession planning, leadership assessment, employee engagement, workforce analytics strategic workforce planning and the compliance strategy for HR, Safety, and Communications. Plan, organize, and manage human resource special projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Select, train, develop and motivate the HR administrative staff to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate processes and procedures are maintained and followed

2. Identify, develop, and implement strategies, projects, and programs to increase organizational effectiveness and quality in support of strategic initiatives

3. Oversee job analysis and competency modeling to identify critical workforce requirements necessary to achieve current and future business results

4. Direct the development, validation, and implementation of selection tools and processes

5. Manage performance management programs including objectives, coaching, talent review, succession planning, and leadership development tools

6. Lead the design and development of analytical reports, as well as interpreting results, formulating recommendations, and presenting to various business leaders across the organization

7. Leverage change management and project management skills to effectively implement workforce planning and analytics best practices

8. Manage employee surveys, validate, and evaluate survey results

9. Provide leadership and guidance on the development of HR quality processes and products.

10. Collaborate with team members to identify and design the critical path and work streams to deliver the project outcome effectively and efficiently; provide pro-active advice and counsel to team members on best practices.

11. Conduct required research & remain abreast of regulatory changes that impact scope of covered responsibilities

12. Identify & recommend HR policy changes to ensure corporate compliance

13. Develop and track budget for all Organizational Effectiveness projects and initiatives

14. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

15. Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, science, mathematics, industrial psychology, human resources, or other related field plus five (5) years of experience in a related field with demonstrated ability of identifying areas of opportunity and successful implementations
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels across the organization
  • Strong organizational/time management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Proven experience in change management preferred
  • High level of initiative and ability to lead in new or rapidly evolving areas with limited direction
  • Comfortable working in unclear situations
  • Ability to analyze and blend complex quantitative data into easy to understand and actionable recommendations that motivate organizational leaders
  • Experience solving problems using advanced quantitative approaches and answering hard questions with data
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience using quantitative methods including multivariate techniques to solve practical problems
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills
