Specialist Maintenance Training Immediately Hiring! Specialist Maintenance Training FULL-TIME Remote Opportunity in Denton, TX
- Starting Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
We're hiring a Specialist Maintenance Training to maintain training records, manage training schedules and partners with business units throughout the organization to design, develop, and test online aviation maintenance learning content in support of existing and newly identified learning needs and opportunities. Manages and prioritizes multiple requests and applies an analytical and methodical approach to work that demonstrates problem-solving skills, attention to detail and strong focus on quality assurance. Applies adult learning and instructional design best practices to learning content. Builds relationships with business leaders, functional leaders, and field employees to understand training needs and meet content development goals and timelines. Responsibilities
- Ensures New hires have all necessary IT equipment, uniforms, company system access and access to technical publications upon hire.
- Maintains and updates the company electronic filing system of all maintenance training records and documentation for all maintenance personnel.
- Able to build reports for training needs based upon the company electronic record keeping system.
- Partner with business units throughout the organization to design, develop, and test online learning courses and learning evaluations for aviation maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with internal customers to understand training design and development needs.
- Develop courses using e-learning authoring software and/or other instructional technologies.
- Design and execute best-practice training methodologies.
- Test eLearning courses to confirm accuracy of content and functionality.
- Ensure timeliness of training materials by effectively managing and prioritizing multiple requests.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business unit/functional leads to ensure that content, format, and delivery modalities meet training goals.
- Recommend training design and content evaluation strategies to the business units to increase the effectiveness and engagement of training.
- Evaluate all training content requested to ensure it meets the established content request standards, especially copyright considerations. Partner with the business units if the content needs to be modified to adhere to these standards.
- Update courses as required.
- Manage the content publishing process with an external vendor.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone's responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in training design and development or graphic design
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid State issues Driver's License
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing time-sensitive needs or requests
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an education, Instructional Design, or aviation maintenance-related field; or 5 years of experience in a similar role that supports aviation maintenance training.
- Proficiency with instructional/media technology applications such as eLearning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems required.
- Strong knowledge of 14 CFR regulations and associated guidance material applicable to maintenance and operations of aircraft operated on a 14 CFR Part 135 air carrier certificate
- Web page design (HTML, CSS or Java etc)
