FLSA STATUS: Exempt

PAY: $100,000 + based on experience

WORK FROM HOME STATUS: Eligible

This role has the option to work remotely, depending on business needs. (Work from home is in WI only at this time). Details will be arranged with your business leader. Note that there will be situations when the associate may choose or be asked to return onsite, which would be coordinated and scheduled in advance whenever possible.

The director of learning and development will be responsible for partnering with business leaders and human resources to develop and implement strategic and innovative learning programs. This position will work with department leaders to develop customized solutions that meet their department, team and individual development needs to ensure that our associates are provided with resources to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to thrive in their positions and prepare them for ongoing growth and development.

This role will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of impactful learning experiences across the organization. This role is all about creating memorable learning experiences by designing training, leading discussions, coaching team members and assessing programs offered to help associates and teams grow and succeed in their roles.

Here's what a typical day might look like. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Provide leadership for the learning and development team including setting clear expectations, providing support and holding self and the team accountable for results.
  • Align learning initiatives with organizational goals, company culture and our talent acquisition and retention strategy.
  • Lead the development of engaging, learner-centered content for online, blended and instructor-led formats applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create programs that can be scaled.
  • Oversee the design, development and implementation of customized training modules and supporting resources integrating AI-driven and personalized learning tools to enhance training outcomes.
  • Conduct frequent needs analyses across the business to identify gaps and recommend solutions for learning initiatives to maintain and improve business performance.
  • Collaborate with leaders to implement training content and apply new learnings to daily workflows.
  • Lead the design and implement coaching frameworks to support leadership development and individual performance growth.
  • Help leaders to embed coaching into their daily leadership practices.
  • Partner with leaders throughout the business and human resources to build talent development programs to ensure associates possess the competencies and skills necessary to be effective and grow in their roles.
  • Lead the development of trainer development programs including coaching of those involved in training efforts, providing effective growth and development opportunities.
  • Use data to refine program offerings, quantify results through KPI's and support future development initiatives.
  • Develop tools and processes metrics like completion rates, satisfaction surveys, skill acquisition and adoption to assess learning program effectiveness, skill development and expertise, and behavioral change along with communications to share with leaders and associates.
  • Manage learning technologies, vendors and budget.
  • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.

You might be a fit for this position if you are:

  • Experienced with strategic learning design and curriculum development.
  • Someone who possesses a deep knowledge of instructional design, various training delivery methods, and how to distinguish as to which method is most appropriate based on learning needs.
  • Someone who possess proven project management experience - ability to meet deadlines, establish clear priorities quickly and begin projects to completion on time and within budget.
  • Someone who has a proven track record of designing and delivering learning programs that achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Someone who has an analytical mindset with experience in learning assessment and performance metrics.
  • Collaborative, influential and able to build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Someone who possesses outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.
  • Able to create momentum and foster positive, productive relationships across the organization.

Required education/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in a corporate or business setting, preferably in human resources or training, with expertise in instructional design, facilitation and coaching.
  • Minimum three years of leadership experience with direct reports.
