Job Summary
Leads in the analysis of customer training needs, development and organization of the training service, and delivery of training for assigned applications. Assists leadership with the management of the training life cycle, including needs analysis, training/upgrade strategy and development, and delivery of training. Also responsible for leading change management and communication efforts to enable effective engagement within the information security, governance, and risk domain Masters applications and related workflows to develop audience-specific training infrastructure (including traditional and computer-based curriculum materials); organizes the applicable registration and certification processes; and conducts classroom and one-on-one training. Works closely with project leadership and key customer leaders, to ensure that the training programs are appropriately structured to satisfy a broad range of training audiences and requirements, which may include physicians and other clinical staff. May serve as project manager, providing leadership for the training-related tasks for new implementations and upgrades of systems in area(s) of expertise. Maintains appropriate certifications and credentialing required for technology educators by application vendors and/or licensing mandates. Consistently demonstrates customer service excellence in all situations. Staff members in this position are effective and self-sufficient in working within a diverse training portfolio, and regularly provide guidance to less experienced Information Training Specialists. Seen as a subject matter expert by colleagues on analysis, development, organization, and delivery of customer training, and may also be seen as an expert in the industry outside of the organization. In addition, the Lead Information Systems Training Specialist will be expected to take on additional formal and informal assignments, as directed by leadership. Essential Functions
