The Office of Enrollment and Student Success (
ESS) is a mission-driven organization providing a cohesive experience throughout all phases of the student lifecycle, from the pre-college programs to career services with a strong focus on admissions and the enrollment process through graduation and beyond, by supporting a connected, comprehensive and student-centered approach to the student experience.
The
ESS division includes the offices of pre-college programs, the visitor center, undergraduate admissions, graduate enrollment management, career services, student financial assistance, student success, the student services hub and enrollment operations.
ESS is committed to a student-first mentality, utilizing a data-driven approach to continuous assessment and improvement across the organization. Most importantly, our goal is to ensure an outstanding experience for students.
The Project Manager, Enrollment and Student Success performs a wide range of activities to facilitate the organized and efficient flow of enrollment support activities within
ESS and across the university. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Success, this individual will provide strategic programming oversight across the
ESS organization as well as provide support and/or coordination of strategic initiatives including the strategic enrollment management plan, the college enrollment meetings, and other projects with high visibility and impact.
Responsibilities include:
- Supports ESS team leads in the alignment and integration of unit initiatives with strategic enrollment goals
- Plays a key role in coordinating VP materials and presentations for University Leadership and Board of Trustee meetings
- Builds and maintains strong collaborative relationships with institutional leadership and key colleagues; cultivates campus wide relationships and communication with campus stakeholders to elevate visibility and understanding of SEM plan goals and enrollment initiatives
- Develops internal policies and processes that create efficiencies and best practices across the organization and create documentation that reflects the details of these policies and practices for clarity and consistency.
- Lead enrollment planning and annual reporting efforts for ESS, developing and maintain high-level knowledge of each unit's functions, needs and priorities in conjunction
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to support collaboration across functional areas and operationalize short- and long-term ESS vision and plans
- Designs, implements, and supports the implementation of approved strategic initiatives.
- Meets regularly with department heads to review all enrollment related concerns, preparing for annual reporting and forecasting exercises.
- Respond to emerging needs through the development of plans, and the implementation of (or support for) renovations, events and projects, and working with partners with internal and external constituents
- Creates professional development strategies and opportunities across the unit, providing recommendations for ways to enhance service delivery for ESS
- Develops and delivers training across the organization to ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures

| Minimum Qualifications: |
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |

- Experience with enrollment work; ideally at a large institution is desired.
