As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting team members and customers with clear, professional communication. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and/or distribution location, including sales floor, receiving areas, stockrooms, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter as assigned.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observe customer and employee activity for unusual behavior, and report concerns that may help to deter theft, damage, and/or unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, alarms, disturbances, and/or other urgent situations.
  • Complete security-related reports, activity logs, and incident documentation with clear, accurate details in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support store operations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with customer concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Communicate and coordinate with site management, Allied Universal supervision, and/or public responders as required by the situation.
  • Perform routine checks of doors, gates, lighting, refrigeration and delivery areas access points, and other assigned areas; report hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through the proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
