As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and help to discourage security-related incidents through strong presence and communication. You will greet guests, assist tenants and shoppers, document observations, and report concerns to site leadership and local responders as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, parking lots, loading areas, service corridors, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, helping to manage access and direct guests to appropriate locations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical calls, suspicious activity, and/or property damage, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, unsecured doors, loitering, and/or prohibited behavior, and communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and patrol documentation, using required systems and/or forms and maintaining timely communication with supervisors.
• Support store and/or mall management with loss prevention awareness by observing and reporting potential theft indicators and coordinating with management and/or law enforcement when directed.
• Operate and/or monitor security-related equipment as assigned, such as radios, access control devices, CCTV, and/or key control, and report malfunctions or concerns.
• Assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods, promotions, or special events by providing directions, monitoring flow, and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Participate in drills, briefings, and on-site training as assigned, and follow Allied Universal and site-specific policies regarding confidentiality, professionalism, and appearance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
