As a Security Officer in Lancaster, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, alarms, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic flow for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems when assigned, and report irregular conditions in accordance with post orders.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs with accurate details, and communicate key information during shift turnover.
- Perform perimeter and interior checks of doors, gates, trailers, and restricted areas to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
- Assist with shipping and receiving area oversight by observing staging areas and documenting seal checks and trailer activity when required by site procedures.
- Coordinate with site contacts and Allied Universal supervision regarding unusual activity, operational changes, and any security-related concerns requiring follow-up.
- Support emergency response activities by initiating notifications, guiding evacuations when directed, and helping to maintain order until responders arrive.
Minimum Requirements: - - Vaccines are required for this hospital assignment.
- - The ability to restrain individuals is required for this hospital assignment.
- - CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
