The Sales Planning organization at Salesforce is looking for an experienced engineering leader who is passionate about solving complex problems, interfacing with multiple teams, and driving technical excellence. We are building Salesforce's Sales Planning solution, enabling sales teams to bring together disciplines such Territory Carving, Segmentation, and Quota Planning to create agile, accurate sales plans.

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) on the Sales Planning team , you will be responsible for the day-to-day is mainly front-end developing Vue.js applications on the SFDC platform.

This is a chance to show off expertise on a new salesforce product and Gartner segment (Sales Performance Management).We are re-imagining sales planning for the AI era, transforming how businesses design territories, allocate resources, and set quotas to maximize sales productivity and coverage.

You'll work on the next generation of our Sales Performance Management solutions, leveraging AI, geospatial intelligence from Salesforce Maps, and deep CRM integration to deliver predictive insights and optimized plans. You'll solve complex challenges in areas like territory optimization, capacity modeling, AI-driven forecasting using modern technologies like Vue.js, ESRI/Mapbox SDKs, and AWS. You'll directly contribute to our customers' ability to achieve ambitious sales targets and drive significant B2B growth.

This is a Front-end Software Engineer role with opportunities for Full Stack Development. This is a hybrid work environment to the Atlanta, GA office, 10+ times/quarter.

Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and implement integrations with other systems and tools, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and adaptability.

  • Create Web Components and applications to drive productivity, engagement, and best-in-class user experience.Develop and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, and controllers as necessary to extend the utilization of the CRM platform.

  • Support system performance monitoring, proactively addressing issues and iterating on solutions based on user feedback.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as data operations, analytics, security, and DevOps to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.Support and help manage technical debt, ensuring high reusability of common features.

  • Mentor team members on technical standards, best practices, and overall technical excellence.Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.Perform testing (unit and systems) and debugging.

  • Strive towards coding best practices and data quality.

  • Contribute to technical documentation.

  • Provide technical leadership to a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, guiding them through agile delivery models, and ensuring best practices throughout the solution lifecycle.Drive technical design sessions, architect end-to-end solutions, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and QA resources to align technical choices with business goals.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce architectures, and produce detailed technical documentation.

  • Oversee and direct the creation of integrations between Salesforce and external systems by leveraging APIs, web services, and point-to-point integration techniques.Enforce high code quality standards, optimize for performance and scalability, and uphold Salesforce development best practices through code reviews and continuous process improvement.

  • Apply understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and data model principles, alongside the ability to lead scrum teams by managing sprints, backlogs, and developer assignments.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional Front End Application development

  • Experience with Vue.JS or React framework

  • Experience with java and javascript

  • A related technical degree required

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience in full-stack development

  • Experience with Managed Packages

  • Experience with APEX
