Overall Responsibilities: The Quality Technician II is responsible for supporting Bosma Enterprises Quality Policy to deliver accurate, on-time, quality products and services to satisfy the needs of its customers and continuously work to improve those products and services.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required, College preferred.
- Minimum of five years in a production environment and ISO 9001 & 13485 internal auditing experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience with a focus on Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong work ethic and must be a self-starter.
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with coworkers, supervisors, and visitors.
- Ability to use the basic functions, or obtain the knowledge, of a computer, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office, and Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate data to make data-based decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prepare reports and analyses accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Working knowledge of corrective action systems, manufacturing methods, procedures and continuous improvement processes.
- Ability to make critical decisions and provide constructive criticism in a manner that promotes continuous improvement and be tactful in communicating quality recommendations.
- Must be able to work 30 to 40 hours a week to organize work flow, set priorities, and accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to train employees on quality requirements and goals.
- Ability to think "outside the box" and make recommendations to management on how to achieve the highest level of service to meet customer demands.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day activities surrounding the sampling, testing, and control of exam glove inspection.
- Physical inspection of control samples to identify any potential non-conformities.
- Keep accurate, legible, and timely quality records on all requested aspects of the quality lab.
- Maintain control sample areas to ensure cleanliness and organization is conforming to Bosma's Quality Standards.
- Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly quality reports as requested.
- Review work instructions, Standard Operating Instructions, and Policies for accuracy.
- Attach Non-conformance Reports to the related case in Salesforce
- Participate and lead Root Cause Analysis activities, utilizing problem-solving methodologies.
- Conduct testing using measurement tools and lab equipment to validate product performance
- Collaborate with operations team members, suppliers, and vendors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Keep all quality work environments neat, clean, and safe at all times.
- Understand basic functions of every job in the production area.
- Work cooperatively with all staff to fulfill Bosma Enterprises' philosophy, mission, and goals.
