SPA's Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy's Team Submarine Office. #FC

SPA's IWSG has a need for part-time IT Support.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide part-time IT support to the PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors Directorate, focusing on NIPR/SIPR sustainment operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting for NMCI end users, onboarding new team members through IT setups, supporting tech refresh initiatives for Windows 11 and iPhones, and handling device deployment and basic troubleshooting. Additionally, the candidate will manage NIPR account actions such as creation, re-enablement, troubleshooting, and dormant verifications, as well as SIPR token tasks like issuance, PIN resets, replacements, and revocations. Support for Global Video Service (GVS) meetings will also be required to assist IWS 2.0 customers. The candidate must work 2-3 days a week from the Washington Navy Yard during an 8-hour window between 0730 and 1800.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years relevant work experience, particularly in the area customer-facing IT support and NIPR/SIPR sustainment operations
  • Strong attributes for handling high volume customer-facing support
  • Demonstrated experience as a highly dependable performer and adept communicator
  • Possess DOD SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Program Office experience
  • Experience as Local Register Authority (LRA) for DoW organization
