Job Description
A ServiceNow Tester SR is the lead in executing test activities supporting ServiceNow functionality based on business needs. This role works alongside the Test Manager and Developer to execute the lifecycle of test activities. Responsibilities:
In addition to complying with our professionalism policies, the ServiceNow Developer is responsible for:
- Execution of Test activities.
- Validating the ServiceNow Platform functionality following the test lifecycle.
- Creating test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Executing ATF, Unit, System, and User Acceptance Testing.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
- Knowledge of testing methodologies used to support the ServiceNow Platform and functionalities
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certification
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
- Certified Implementation Specialist certification in one of the OOTB ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, etc.)
- Experience utilizing the Agile/Scrum methodology to define and deliver development work
- ITIL V4 Foundation or above
- Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
- Experience of one popular web framework - React, AngularJS
- Ability to develop web services such as Scripted REST APIs and Rest Messages
- Experience integrating to multiple data sources used to populate ServiceNow modules
- Experience with standard methodologies of software development - logging, unit testing (ATF), code reviews, etc
- Advanced scripting experience utilizing best practice formatting and comments in Script Includes, Business Rules, etc
- Experience with upgrades and skipped update remediation
- Excellent communication skills.
