The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation's premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as "The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.
Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Football Operations Assistant for Athletics - Football.

Catapult, our wearable GPS monitoring system that our players wear for training is arguably the most important tool we use to track performance. This position is going to be an integral piece of the new long term research we are doing with our players sleep data.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Provides operational support to the football program.
  • Assists the staff with information collection and uploading amongst multiple departments.
  • Provides support in the implementation of various operational functions for the program as well as support other staff and coaches with day to day tasks with specific attention to their assigned area.
  • Assists with the daily data collection of multiple integral pieces of technology that help us monitor the players' performance and their ability to recover.
  • Assists with our daily monitoring of players during practice using the catapult GPS units.

FLSA Nonexempt
Salary Details $25/hourly
