Job Summary
The Copywriter III is a mid-level writing and editing professional responsible for developing and refining content for the organization's Annual Sustainability Report and related sustainability communications. This role translates complex, technical, and data-driven information into clear, engaging narratives for a broad audience. The Copywriter III partners closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to modernize content, strengthen editorial storytelling, and improve clarity while reducing reliance on legacy material. Job Responsibilities
Write, edit, and proofread content for the Annual Sustainability Report and sustainability-related communications
Translate complex environmental, technical, and data-heavy information into accessible, audience-friendly copy
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather, review, and validate content for accuracy and completeness
Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, voice, and editorial standards across all materials
Refresh and modernize existing content with a focus on clarity, narrative flow, and storytelling
Support improvements to content development processes, including data intake, editing workflows, and digital/web publication
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional writing and editing experience
Demonstrated experience developing sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility reports
Strong editing, proofreading, and attention to detail skills
Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple drafts and feedback cycles in a deadline-driven environment
