Position:Buyer I Location:Exeter, CA Directly Reports to:Sr. Procurement Manager Hourly Pay Range: $22.33 - $23.40 Job DescriptionMcWane Plant and Industrial in Exeter, CA is seeking an experienced Buyer I who is responsible for the procurement of products, supplies and services necessary in McWane Plant & Industrial's operation. The Buyer I will also assist personnel engaged in the procuring of supplies and services in adequate quantities at the most advantageous cost while ensuring the quality of the product and services required. Required Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively outside your department. Proven negotiation skills with ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, team members, and customers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
