Join Baker College as our Regional Admissions Advisor and be the driving force connecting students, schools, and communities to life-changing educational opportunities in Jackson County and beyond! The Regional Admissions Advisor - Jackson Campus serves as Baker College's primary local representative for Jackson County, the western Michigan corridor, and select areas of Northwestern Ohio and Northeastern Indiana. As a key member of the Admissions and Recruitment team, this role supports system-wide enrollment while focusing on the growth and long-term vitality of the Jackson campus. The Advisor builds and maintains relationships with high schools, CTE centers, community colleges, adult education programs, employers, and community organizations, driving regional outreach, community engagement, and enrollment advising. Responsibilities include conducting outreach, hosting campus events, providing tours, advising prospective students and families, supporting enrollment processes, and connecting the college to local workforce and community needs. Through relationship-building, personalized guidance, and a strong local presence, the Advisor ensures a student-centered experience, monitors regional trends, tracks recruitment metrics, and collaborates with Admissions colleagues to develop strategies that advance Baker College's mission and contribute to sustainable enrollment growth. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred. They must have a minimum of one to three years of experience in higher education admissions, recruiting, community relations, or workforce engagement. Familiarity with Jackson County, Southwestern Michigan, and the surrounding tri-state region is preferred.
