Description

Leidos' Corporate HR Organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Global Payroll & Corporate Travel Team. In this role, you will lead and coordinate complex global projects focused on Global Payroll, Employee Mobility, Time & Labor, and Corporate Travel. You will be responsible for driving project planning, execution, and delivery across the full lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, managing stakeholders, mitigating risks, and delivering within budget and timeline constraints. You will serve as a trusted liaison between users, HR, Finance, IT, and external partners, as well as ensure smooth communication, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage global projects related to Payroll, Mobility, Time & Labor, and Corporate Travel, overseeing all phases from initiation to closure
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage dependencies, prioritize tasks, identify risks, and track budgets vs. actuals
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and key stakeholders; provide direction and oversight to project teams
  • Communicate project progress, milestones, risks, and issues effectively to management, steering committees, and cross-functional teams
  • Serve as a liaison and consultant for HR and other departments, assessing impacts on workflows and processes
  • Develop standardized policies, procedures, workflows, and comprehensive training materials, collaborating with SMEs and Corporate Training teams
  • Lead training initiatives and measure effectiveness through operational data and testing
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage project expenses and assess return on investment; collaborate with Finance and Operations to analyze financial and WIP data
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization by working closely with IT and software development teams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support strategic goals


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field and 8+ years of program management experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Expertise in project management for technical, schedule, cost, and risk areas
  • Multi- time zone coordination and virtual team leadership
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, data analysis, and presentation skills
  • Skilled in using project management tools for complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to build credibility at all levels
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up and multitasking abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; mastery of Microsoft Project; basic Payroll knowledge is a plus
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive in driving results

Pay Range:Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
