Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Low Voltage Technicians to support our team in the Tampa, FL region. This role focuses on MAC (Move, Add, Change) services and new infrastructure builds, with a strong emphasis on supporting emergency and classified hardlines (copper). While much of the infrastructure is transitioning to VoIP, this technician will primarily handle copper-based systems and assist with VoIP as needed. Contract Details * Duration: 3-month contract, with potential for extension or permanent hire based on performance and project needs. * Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 8-12 hour shifts starting between 7:00-8:00 AM. * Location: Various sites within a 60-mile radius of Tampa, FL. Technicians may meet at a central office to ride out with the lead or travel directly to the site. Responsibilities * Respond to daily trouble tickets related to low voltage systems. * Support MAC team initiatives during downtime. * Assist with new infrastructure builds as the project progresses. * Maintain and troubleshoot copper hardlines for emergency and classified systems. * Provide professional, client-facing support in a healthcare environment. Required Skills & Experience * Minimum 1 year of experience in low voltage installation, testing, and troubleshooting (Fluke meter experience preferred). * Proficiency in running, installing, and terminating low voltage copper cabling (Cat5 and Cat6). * Strong reliability and professionalism in client-facing roles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
