Medical Records Indexer Type: Long-Term Contract-to-Hire Location: On-site \| Sioux Falls, SD 57106 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-7:00pm Start Date: February 6th, 2026 Pay: $17.75/HR (weekly pay) * About the Role* Join a growing team dedicated to accuracy, quality, and patient confidentiality. As a Medical Records Indexer, you'll review and index scanned medical documentation-no physical handling required. This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented individuals looking to gain experience in healthcare operations. * Key Responsibilities* * Review scanned records for completeness and accuracy * Index essential data such as patient name, physician/MD name, dates of service, and specialty * Ensure proper page order and relevance * Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve missing or incorrect information * Top Skills & Qualifications* * Exceptional attention to detail * Strong reliability and attendance record * Solid computer and data entry skills * Experience in clerical work, data entry, mailroom, or support services a plus * Work Environment* * Supportive small-office setting * Positive culture with long-term growth potential * Convenient south Sioux Falls location near major interstates Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
