Location: On-site (Sioux Falls, SD with travel to surrounding locations as needed) Start Date: ASAP End Date: May 27, 2026 (must complete full contract, cannot leave mid-way). Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (up to 15 hours of OT approved). Position Type: Contract Pay Rate: $20-$25/hour (based on experience) Overview We are seeking 5 Desktop Support Technicians to assist with a large-scale IT initiative within a healthcare environment. This role will focus primarily on workstation refreshes, new system deployments, and end-user support as part of a major system upgrade effort. Technicians must be comfortable working onsite, collaborating with a team, and traveling to nearby facilities as needed. Key Responsibilities * Deploy and configure new desktop and laptop systems * Refresh existing workstations to align with updated system requirements * Install hardware, software, and peripheral devices * Assist with single sign-on badge deployment and system imaging * Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues * Provide professional, customer-focused support to end users * Lift and transport equipment as required for deployments * Work collaboratively with other technicians and project leads Required Skills & Qualifications * Basic desktop support experience (hardware and software installation) * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment * Willingness to work onsite and travel to nearby locations * Ability to lift equipment as needed Preferred Skills * Troubleshooting and system imaging experience * Familiarity with SCCM * Experience training or assisting end users with new systems Work Environment * Onsite role in a professional healthcare setting * Standard daytime schedule (no overnight shifts expected) * Drug screening and medical testing required * Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50lbs.
