ProHealth Physicians has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient-focused and detail-oriented Senior Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. You will be splitting your time between the Southington and Kensington locations (about 15 minutes between offices) depending on the day and business need; must be flexible to cover whichever location has a greater depending on the day.

About the Role:

Support the care team and patients by greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering in person and telephonic inquiries, collecting payments and maintaining demographic information. Will be overseeing admin team for both locations (Kensington, CT and Southington, CT - offices are about 15 minutes apart) and must be flexible to provide coverage at both practices whenever needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support administrative staff in front office processes
  • Work collaboratively with the Practice Manager to manage staff schedules and coverage
  • Conduct or participate in scheduled practice meetings and daily briefs
  • Oversee critical processes such as active daily schedule management and PCI compliance
  • Assist in the handling of patient complaints
  • Participate with Practice Manager in new staff selection and hiring and on-boarding of new Medical Receptionists
  • Conduct on-site new staff administrative training
  • Participate in organizational initiatives and projects including workflow improvement initiatives
  • Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of medical office experience in a lead position
  • 2+ years of experience with patient financial and scheduling systems
  • 1+ years of experience working with Epic
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
