Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. * Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited institution postdoctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology. * Board eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP-CN). * Must have or be able to obtain a license to practice psychology in the State of Colorado. * One or more year(s) of experience in a rehabilitation psychology practice. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with the veteran, active-duty and/or first responder population, traumatic brain injury evaluation and rehabilitation, and co-psychological diagnoses. * Knowledge of human development and psychological theory as it relates to traumatic brain injuries, PTS, human behavior, and addiction. * Understanding of traumatic brain injuries and their impact on physical and psychological states and relationships and should possess relationship-building skills across a diverse range of cultural settings. * Knowledge of and direct experience in neurotrauma, pain management, sleep health, and rehabilitation services, philosophy, and practice. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Clinical skill in assessment and psychotherapy interventions. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. * Ability to maintain a positive and cooperative attitude. * Ability to organize and prioritize with minimal direction and maintain a well-organized work environment. * Ability to problem-solve, use good judgement, and work with different and difficult personalities. * Ability to search and critically review best evidence to guide clinical decision making and effectively share knowledge with colleagues as well as communicate relevant findings in appropriate language to the general public. * Ability to set objectives, establish priorities and follow initiatives. * Ability to work in continually changing conditions. * Ability to work under moderate to high levels of stress. * Current knowledge of or willingness to learn about military culture. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Proficient computer skills including the ability to work with a variety of applications. |
