Your Job

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced Business Analyst to join the Corrugated Division IT Group. In this role, you will analyze business and IT system needs, identify and document requirements, and validate solutions to ensure they meet the needs of both internal and external customers.

Our Team

As a key member of the IT team, you will build strong partnerships with business stakeholders and leverage IT capabilities to define challenges, identify opportunities, and lead collaborative efforts to design and implement technology solutions. These solutions will enhance and optimize business systems while advancing IT's strategic objectives and overall business performance.

Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our GP Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. It requires 3 days in office per week.

This role is not open to VISA Sponsorship or potential VISA Transfer now or in the future. If you are currently a VISA holder including EAD, this role is not open to support.

What You Will Do

  • Proactively partner with Corrugated business stakeholders
  • Build relationships, identify gaps in processes and define future state needs
  • Collaborate with cross functional IT Teams and business partners to research alternatives, perform functional analysis and design and implement transformation solutions
  • Communicate effectively to business partners, IT Teams and leadership on status, risks and roadblocks, and aid team members to overcome obstacles
  • Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for planning and managing the implementation of approved solutions, including required system integrations
  • Execute against a prioritized backlog to deliver highest value initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Independently manage and resolve work from assigned IT Support queues, including case routing, triage, and resolution
  • Conduct direct engagement with vendors for issue resolutions, enhancements and escalations
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of supported business processes and system configurations to support, optimize and transform operations
  • Provide on call 24/7 support in team rotation

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Prior experience working in business analyst role or IT functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 product suite (i.e. Dynamics 365)
  • Willing and able to join on call rotation for after hour support
  • Willing and able to travel up to 20% domestically
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Experience supporting Order to Cash or ERP type business software
  • Experience and knowledge of the packaging and/or digital print industry
  • Experience with SQL queries and PowerBi
